Welcome to Day 1 of the Perfect Past Tenses 30-Day Spanish Story Challenge.
Let's dive straight in and start learning some Spanish!
Activity 1 - Read & Listen To The Story

Activity 2 - Your Daily Spanish Lesson
Next, watch today's short video lesson, where Alba teaches you the Spanish past tense from the story.
Activity 3 - Test Your Knowledge
Finally, let's test your knowledge of the Spanish past tenses. These short quizzes will appear at the end of every lesson in our 30-Day challenge and will help you to master verb conjugations in the past tense and their usage.
Either take the quiz just below, where you'll get automatic responses. Or scroll down to the text-only quiz then check the answers that follow. (The second form of the quiz may show up better on your mobile screen.)
The two quizzes are exactly the same.
Don't worry if you don't get them all correct right away. Just keep working at it and re-reading the story, and you'll notice a significant improvement in your past tense verbs as the challenge goes on.
We'll see you tomorrow for Día 2!
